Here’s the workflow we’re working toward.
Use a representative email from your usual sending setup to check placement in controlled seed inboxes.
Choose a repeatable cadence. The goal: fewer manual reminders and a consistent pulse on placement.
See inbox and spam results by provider, spot changes, and decide where to investigate next.
Proposed pilot workflow. Scheduling and provider coverage are still being validated.
You put the work into the campaign. Get a consistent view of where test emails land, so inbox checks don’t become another recurring task.
Seed inbox tests show where emails land in the addresses tested. They’re a useful signal, not a guarantee for every recipient. And yes—Gmail Promotions is still the inbox.
If inbox checks are on your weekly to-do list, we’d love to hear how you handle them. Join the interest list and help shape what comes next.
A little more about the idea
and where we’re headed.
InboxSignal is an early-stage concept. This page is an invitation to help shape a pilot; the report and workflow shown here are illustrative. Joining the interest list does not create an account or start inbox testing. We’ll contact you about availability.
The proposed workflow uses controlled test addresses, often called seed inboxes. You would send a representative email through your usual sending setup, and the check would observe where it arrives. We’re validating scheduling, provider coverage, and reporting with pilot participants.
No. Seed inbox results are directional signals from the addresses tested. Individual inbox placement can vary with recipient engagement, filtering, reputation, and other factors. A seed test cannot guarantee delivery to every real recipient.
No. Promotions is a category inside the Gmail inbox. Our sample report counts Promotions as inbox placement and treats spam separately. That distinction is part of the reporting we want to build.
We’re still validating the first set of integrations and providers. Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo on this page demonstrate the proposed reporting format; they do not indicate that integrations are live. Tell us about your current workflow when you join.
Pricing has not been set. We’re speaking with marketing teams and agencies to understand the value, expected check frequency, and scope of a useful pilot. Joining the interest list is free, and this page takes no payment.
